Calm Skies: Flying with Confidence
Transform your relationship with flying and travel with calm and confidence
Do you find yourself feeling anxious at the thought of flying, avoiding holidays, or experiencing intense fear before or during a flight?
Hypnotherapy can help you feel calmer, more in control, and able to approach flying with greater ease—so you can travel freely and confidently.
How Hypnotherapy Can Help
Hypnotherapy is a gentle, evidence-based approach that works with your subconscious mind. In a deeply relaxed state, your mind becomes more open to positive change, making it easier to:
-
Understand the root of your fear and how it has developed
-
Reduce anxiety responses before and during flights
-
Feel calmer and more in control in the airport and on the plane
-
Reframe unhelpful thoughts and “what if” thinking
-
Build a sense of safety, trust, and confidence when flying
Many clients notice a shift in how they feel about flying after just a few sessions.
What the Programme Involves
The Fear of Flying programme is tailored to you and typically takes 3–6 sessions (in person in Sheffield, or online via Zoom/Teams), depending on your needs and travel goals.
During the programme, we will:

Understand your anxiety response
Learn how your mind and body react, and begin to gently retrain those responses -
Build calm and control
Use hypnotherapy techniques to create a sense of safety and relaxation connected to flying -
Prepare for your journey
